Art Commission Request
Commissioning is the process by which an Artist creates a work of art on a Client's request. Requesting a custom, commissioned painting provides the unique opportunity for a Client to own artwork specifically created for them. Commissions will be "OPEN" for request until available slots fill up, and "CLOSED" while the art completes each painting. Once commissions are completed new requests will be "OPEN".
Canvases are 1.5" deep with gallery-style edges.

The price will be decided by the Artist beforehand and be based upon canvas size and complexity of the requested work. Painting size will be mutually determined by the Artist and the Art Collector. The Art Collector can also pick a size listed above.
Payment is accepted via:
Cash (local customers only)
Credit or Debit Card
*A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the selling price is required before the Artist will start the project. The remaining amount is due upon completion and approval of the work.
Turnaround time for commission work will vary. Please coordinate with the Artist to discuss the details of your custom piece and to agree on a timeframe that is reasonable for both parties.
The Artist agrees to furnish the Art Collector with images (visual references) of progress during the creation of the work, which are sent via email. Emails will sent during 50%, 75%, and 100% progress.
Artist reserves the common-law copyright to all works commissioned by Collector that are created by the Artist, including all reproduction rights and the right to claim statutory copyright. No work may be reproduced by the Collector without the prior written approval of the Artist.
Right of Refusal
In the event that the Art Collector does not wish to purchase the commissioned artwork, the Art Collector may refuse. In that case, the Artist will retain the refused artwork and the non-refundable deposit.This is free of any claims or interests of the Art Collector and the Art Collector will not owe any additional fees to the Artist.
Following Commission Inquiry & Discussion:
After discussing the piece and pricing, you will receive a invoice via email with payment instruction and dates.
Once initial payment is received, I will begin working on your painting!
Throughout the stages of creating the painting I will send progress updates via email with images for feedback.
When the painting reaches 50% completion small to some medium changes will be accepted. Changes that require extra work will have a additional charge of $40 per change. ( I will inform you if the change is possible upon discussion and cost.)
After the painting reaches 75% completion no major changes to the painting will be allowed. Changes that require extra work will have a additional charge of $60 per change. ( I will inform you if the change is possible upon discussion and cost.)
The finished painting will be sent via email prior to shipping for your final approval.
The finished painting will be shipped and tracking information will be sent via email. Shipping fees with be included in final payment. (If you are in the Memphis area drop off/ pick up arrangements can be made).
